Comment: When Prince William invited Hollywood and fashion elite to dine at Windsor Castle in aid of a charity close to his heart - The Royal Marsden - they gladly accepted his invitation. On the guest list, designer Ralph Lauren and a host of stars, who paid tribute to the designer in a selection of his looks.

Margot Robbie looked seductive in a grey gown from the Fall 2014 Collection; Emma Watson was regal in a crisp white shirt and grey skirt; Cate Blanchett looked her etheral self in the white Silk Cady column gown from the Ralph Lauren Collection with a Ralph Lauren watch; and Downton's Lily James wore a bespoke one-off piece by the brand.
