No your eyes are not deceiving you. The fashion impossible has happened. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have landed their first Vogue cover. It has been a dream of Kim's for years, apparently she charmed Vogue's editor Anna Wintour at the MET Ball and here we are. The reality star wore a white strapless Lanvin wedding gown for the shoot, with her rapper fiancé standing behind her in a dark suit.
So, Ms. Wintour. What were you thinking? In her editor's letter she writes "Part of the pleasure of editing Vogue, one that lies in a long tradition of this magazine, is being able to feature those who define the culture at any given moment, who stir things up, whose presence in the world shapes the way it looks and influences the way we see it. I think we can all agree the fact that that role is currently being played by Kim and Kanye to a T. (or perhaps that should be to a K).'
Anna Wintour describes the cover as "charming and touching". What do you think? I like Kim and enjoying seeing what she wears but a Vogue cover girl? This ones a Nay for me.
