The Fashion Film Festival Of The Year......Cannes Gets Off To A Stylish Start

It's that time of year again. Hollywood's finest gather in the South of France for the annual Cannes Film Festival to celebrate the finest movies of the years, but let's face it perhaps it's really all about the stylish gowns on display, at least for us fashion fans. :)

This year Baz Luhrmann's adaption of The Great Gatsby is taking centre stage at the festival. British actress Carey Mulligan has been earning rave reviews for her starring role as Gatsby's love interest Daisy Buchanan and it's clear Carey has been taking some style inspiration from her character. Carey looked divine on the red carpet in a custom made Christian Dior gown. The longer hair frames her face beautifully and the red lipstick polished off the look terrifically. Beautiful, beautiful look. One of Carey's best yet.
