Songstress Ellie Goulding had a date with the royal family at Westminster Abbey - performing for thousands of people at the Commonwealth Service. What do you wear for such an occasion? Ellie chose black simple pants and a pussybow blouse for the understate look.

Adding a splash of glamour to the ensemble with the addition of the Vilshenko Ruby Embroidered Wool Cape. The  £950 cape is ornately detailed white embroidery that frames the dramatic flared silhouette. Lined in smooth silk-satin, it's accented with a pretty mandarin collar and cut with neat arm slits.

My love of capes and the beautiful dewy make up makes this one a 9/10.

Supermodel Heidi Klum can pull off a slinky Versace number unlike anyone else. For her orange carpet appearance and presenting at the Kids' Choice Awards Heidi wore a skintight sky blue dress with white splashes on it and cut out detail

This might be a little risque for some; however I think Heidi pulls it off and the colour is divine. Completed with minimal make up, beach waves and white sandals. 7/10.

Cheryl is Chic in Jumpsuit & Lanvin Love Necklace

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and her new beau - One Directioner Liam Payne stepped out in London for a friends 30th birthday party on Wednesday night. The stylish duo coordinated their looks opting for black ensembles.  Cheryl looked ridiculously on point in her Narciso Rodriguez Harness Black Jumpsuit. The elegant jumpsuit with a revealing cutout back and slim bodice has a delicate halter neckline. The Italian made mid-weight crepe piece is on sale for $628.

Cheryl accessorised the look with the beautiful Lanvin love gold-tone swarovski crystal necklace. The statement necklace was the perfect piece to finish off the look, and conveys a very special message.

Eva Longoria in Sheer Shiatzy Chen for Fashion Week

Fashion week favourite Eva Longoria took centre stage for Shiatzy Chen's debut Paris Fashion Week show donning sheer separates by the designer.

Looking at the ensemble from head to toe, the hair and make up is fantastic. The classic sheer blouse with frill detail is a great piece. But (and you knew there would be but) the skirt doesn't work at all for me. The black sheer skirt from the designers Spring/Summer 2016 collection swamps Eva, it's too long for her petite frame and combined with sheer black blouse is quite drab, or at least it would be if not for the sheer..well sheerness of the garment.

A good effort and a daring choice. It didn't work for me. 4/10.

Jennifer Lopez in Sleek Cushnie Et Ochs Mint Dress

Jennifer Lopez was out on the town to support her boyfriend Casper Smart at the Hollywood Premiere of his film The Perfect March. Jennifer looked chic and understated on the red carpet thanks to the efforts of stylist duo Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn. The stars sleek mint dress is by New York based label Cushnie Et Ochs. The Anita sheath dress is fully lined with gold buttons on the side. It's sold out - originally available for $1500.

The look was completed with a very sparkly pair of Christian Louboutin Pigalle Ombré Crystal Pumps and refreshingly colourful Valentino Lock Printed Leather Shoulder Bag.

This one gets a strong 8/10!
