The Duchess of Cambridge is All Grey for Commonwealth Service

The Duchess of Cambridge, formerly Kate Middleton, made a fashionable arrival at Westminster Abbey for the Commonwealth Service with Princes William and Harry by her side.

Kate wore an Erdem coat from the Pre-Fall 2015 Collection in two-tone grey with dark lace overlay. It's quite a heavy looking garment for a spring day in London but works for the tone of the day. A fabulous statement hat by Princess Diana's much loved miller John Boyd provided a stylish finish to the very regal look.

Nicely done Kate. 7/10.

On the day she wore the frock, Google reported a surge in searches for "Kate yellow dress" and "yellow dress" causing many ladies who would normally shy away from the hue to take the plunge and add a vibrant yellow colour to their wardrobe. Even though Prince William thought his wife looked like "a banana" we think she pulled it off with aplomb.
