The Duchess of Cambridge is All Grey for Commonwealth Service

The Duchess of Cambridge, formerly Kate Middleton, made a fashionable arrival at Westminster Abbey for the Commonwealth Service with Princes William and Harry by her side.

Kate wore an Erdem coat from the Pre-Fall 2015 Collection in two-tone grey with dark lace overlay. It's quite a heavy looking garment for a spring day in London but works for the tone of the day. A fabulous statement hat by Princess Diana's much loved miller John Boyd provided a stylish finish to the very regal look.

Nicely done Kate. 7/10.

Steal Kate Middleton's Style (and look like a banana too!)

Thanks to the super regal Kate Middleton's royal tour down under and a very stylish appearance in a Roksanda Ilincic colour block dress, sales of yellow dresses are up 95% according to ebay. On the day she wore the frock, Google reported a surge in searches for "Kate yellow dress" and "yellow dress" causing many ladies who would normally shy away from the hue to take the plunge and add a vibrant yellow colour to their wardrobe. Even though Prince William thought his wife looked like "a banana" we think she pulled it off with aplomb. We've combined a list of just a few of our favourites and you can look like a banana shine in yellow too :)

Make a style statement in this Oscar De La Renta Silk-Faille Dress. Featuring a classic portrait neckline and a full skirt this dress is the picture of modern-lady elegance. We loved the draped asymmetric overlay which lends added movement to this delectable pretty piece.

Choose a lighter lemon hue with this J Mendel Cotton Patchwork Lace Dress. This is quite an understated pastel colour and allows one to dip their feet into the trend with committing to a very bright shade.

Christopher Kane's Swarovski Crystal-Embellished Wool-Crepe dress is a subtly cut shirt dress evoking the 1960s, something we've seen the designer do since he debuted his Fall 2010 Collection.

Embrace the polka dot trend with the Topshop Bodycon Dress, a stretchy cotton blend which sits just above the knee. This would look great with a killer pair of heels.
